Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in El Paso, TX . This position offers high-volume patient exposure, flexible scheduling, and competitive compensation in a Level II Trauma Center with resident supervision responsibilities .

Opportunity Details:

• Location: El Paso, TX
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
• Shift Schedule:
  • Day & Night Shifts Available
  • Minimum Commitment: 5 shifts per month
• Coverage Model:
  • 48 hours of MD coverage per day
  • 8 hours of APP coverage per day
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 56,000 patient visits
  • 34 ED Beds
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Highest-acuity, busiest ED in the city
• EMR System: MediTech
• Travel & Lodging: Provided

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 2.5 – 3.7

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: ABEM Board Certified
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted TX State License & DEA
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Must be comfortable supervising Emergency Medicine residents
  • Must respond to floor codes and administer orders
