Job Title: Production Assembler Job Description
As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for performing wire-to-wire and wire-to-lead electrical connections, soldering and insulating components, shaping and lacing motor coils, and following electrical assembly standards and quality procedures. You will inspect parts to meet aerospace manufacturing tolerances, follow written work instructions and quality procedures, maintain clean and safe work areas, and use basic computer systems for inventory and documentation.
Responsibilities- Perform wire-to-wire and wire-to-lead electrical connections.
- Solder and insulate components.
- Shape and lace motor coils.
- Follow electrical assembly standards and quality procedures.
- Inspect parts to meet aerospace manufacturing tolerances.
- Follow written work instructions and quality procedures.

- Use basic computer systems for inventory and documentation.

- Familiarity with IPC standards (J-STD-001, J-STD-001ES, IPC-A-610) is a plus.
- Preferred: 1+ year in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Preferred: 1+ year with soldering, wiring, or electrical components.
- Experience with IPC Standards (J-STD-001, J-STD-001ES, IPC-A-610).

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and quiet. The team size is 10-15 in each department, with about 100 employees in total. The working hours are from 5:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes, eye protection, and gloves.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Ulm, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
