RN - PACU

Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

4-10 hour day shifts with evening/weekend call rotation.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in the Pre-op and Post-op Phase II/Procedures in the Day Surgery Unit. This role requires the coordination of care and collaboration with other clinical personnel, adhering to the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.

Plan and coordinate nursing care for clients during the Pre-op and Post-op phases.

Provide leadership and work cooperatively with clinical personnel.

Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical area.

Support shared governance and nursing obligations in practice.

Minimum of 3 years RN experience in Day Surgery, Procedure, or IV Infusion (not Chemotherapy).

Experience in PACU or CCU is preferred.

Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.

Current Colorado Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association with cards in-hand before the start date.
