Accountant - Growth Path with BI & Reconciliations

Accountant We are seeking a creative, motivated, and dedicated teammate to join our team. Basic Job Functions Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Perform monthly ATM, cash and bank reconciliations. Monitor ATM cash usage for assigned divisions and work with Brinks to adjust standing orders as needed. Resolve vault cash balance differences and manage courier delivery issues. Primary responsibility for CRM new supplier and change approvals. Match and enter mill weights to settle shipments. Review accounts receivable and follow up on missing mill weights and payments. Apply cash to open AR. Work with Nucor Business Technology team to resolve brokerage and metals group interface issues. Primary responsibility for handling helpdesk support tickets assigned to the group. Address issues with security/access, shipment reversals, payment & ticket voids, freight issues, and other related problems. Coordinate with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. 3‑5 years of accounting or equivalent experience. Bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, or accounts receivable experience preferred. Desire and aptitude for promotion, including relocation. Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI. CPA and/or an advanced business degree. Manufacturing or public accounting experience. Benefits Paid weekly with bonus and profit sharing.
