About the Position

Opportunity:

TRAVEL-Certified Surgical Tech (701)-days

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Three twelve-hour shifts per week
• On-call is required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period
• Call schedule will vary from month to month
• 13-week assignment length
• Work in an 11-OR operating room suite on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• EMR system: Epic
• Perform total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Da Vinci Xi Robotic cases including GYN, colorectal, and general procedures
• Heavy orthopedic, neuro, and spine experience required including Total Joint Arthroplasty and Spinal Fusion
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic system required
• Work with a variety of OR beds and equipment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Required certifications: NBSTSA, BLS
• Must be a patient advocate with a positive outlook and willingness to work with team members
• Candidates without total joints, neuro, and Xi Robotic skills will not be considered

This facility features an 11-OR operating room department performing a high volume of complex surgical cases including total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic-assisted procedures. The operating room team consists of an average of 8 RNs, 8 scrub techs, and 5 surgical support techs on day shift, with a charge RN and scrub tech on night shift supported by a call team. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and maintains a strong focus on orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgical services.
