Inventory Coordinator/Shipping Clerk

Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator/Shipping Clerk is responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory activities, and performing administrative tasks related to shipping our delicious products. Responsibilities:

Inventory: (80% of job duties)

• Validate all production receipts and/or discrepancies.
• Perform inventory adjustments and transactions under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager or other upper-level management.
• Perform electronic transfers.
• Assist in controlling and monitoring the cycle counting program.
• Coordinate and participate in all physical inventories.

Shipping: (20% of job duties)

• Create bills of lading for outbound shipments.
• Create all paperwork for international shipments.
• Send advanced ship notices to our retail customers.
• Produce shipping address labels.
• Produce UCC 128 labels.
• Provide constant interaction with transportation drivers.
• Will assist traffic manager with any assigned clerical duties.
• Fill in for other clerical functions within the department.

Hours : 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday thru Friday (hours will vary for end of month and physical inventory activities)

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess effective time management and strong organizational skills.
• Must have a professional demeanor and demonstrate proper phone etiquette.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Previous Dynamics AX and ERP Software experience.
• Previous experience with inventory control software.
