Job Opportunity – OB Surgical Technologist – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, two 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend rotation approximately every third weekend. On-call availability required on scheduled days. 13-week assignment through October 5, 2026.

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care facility with 418 staffed beds and 43-room OB unit
• Scrub obstetrical cases including C-sections, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and labor and delivery procedures
• Training provided for scheduling and admitting OB patients if interested in expanding skill set
• Epic charting system with orientation provided
• Opportunity to pick up additional on-call shifts for supplemental hours
• First-time travelers welcome

Requirements:

• Active Oregon surgical technologist license (or in process)
• NBSTSA certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of surgical technology experience
• Proficiency in OB surgical procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, D&C, and laparoscopic gynecological procedures
• Epic charting experience required
• Two professional references covering the past year
• Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
