Senior Revit Designer

Job Description

Develop and maintain structural BIM models using Revit.

Support the design and construction of new facilities and renovation projects.

Produce structural design documentation, including plans, sections, details, and schedules.

Utilize point cloud data, laser scans, and coordination tools to support modeling, routing, and clash detection activities.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and Plumbing/Piping teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

Incorporate engineering markups and design direction from Structural Engineers and project leads.

Establish and maintain Revit project models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.

Collaborate with BIM and CAD teams to integrate new and existing model content.

Apply and support the continuous improvement of structural drafting and modeling standards.

Assist with BIM content creation, including families, templates, and modeling tools.

Participate in design and model reviews at key project milestones (30%, 60%, and 90% completion).

Deliver accurate, coordinated, and high-quality project models and construction documents.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience as a Structural Designer supporting industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or building projects.

5+ years of hands-on experience using Revit Structure.

Strong understanding of structural design documentation and BIM workflows.

Experience working in a multidisciplinary design environment.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Associate degree, technical diploma, or certification in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.

Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software such as Revizto, Navisworks, or similar platforms.

Experience creating and maintaining Revit families, parametric content, and BIM standards.

Familiarity with vendor-provided BIM content and content management best practices.

Experience supporting fabrication-level models and drawings (LOD 400).

Industrial or manufacturing facility project experience preferred.
