Real Estate Associate

We are partnering with an elite national practice to find a driven Real Estate Associate for their Chicago office. You will work alongside top tier partners and handle sophisticated transactions in a highly collegial and collaborative environment. What You Will Do In this role, you will take ownership of broad transactional real estate matters from inception to closing. Your daily work will directly shape major commercial developments and investments. You will: Draft, review, and negotiate complex purchase and sale agreements. Handle intricate development agreements and property management contracts. Lead commercial leasing agreements for high profile clients. Collaborate closely with a national team of attorneys to solve complex real estate challenges quickly and effectively. What You Bring (Must-Haves) 3+ years of broad transactional real estate experience in a law firm or similar environment. A Juris Doctor (JD) and an active bar admission in Illinois. Proven expertise with purchase and sale, development, property management, and leasing agreements. Excellent academic credentials. Superior writing, communication, and analytical problem solving skills. Hands on experience with joint ventures. Background in borrower side financing. Previous exposure to real estate fund work.
