CNC Machine Operator

Job Full Description Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend metal sheets or plates according to job specifications and blueprints.
Program and adjust CNC machine settings for specific bending operations.
Ensure correct tooling is in place, including dies, punches, and back gauges, to achieve the desired bends and shapes.
Adjust machine settings to meet precise angle, length, and thickness requirements.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
Verify that the part meets tolerances, angles, and specifications as outlined in engineering drawings.
Perform regular checks to ensure parts are free of defects and meet quality standards.
Maintenance and Safety:
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC press brake machines to ensure optimal performance.
Keep the work area clean and follow safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.
Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Production Efficiency:
Operate the machine in a timely manner to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
Monitor and adjust machine performance to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
