Security Generalist Sr / Ebbing ANG

The position is located at Ebbing ANG Base, AR, supporting F‑35 security operations. The incumbent may be required to work shift operations, including weekends, with some travel. A Top‑Secret clearance may be required in the future. Responsibilities Conduct initial and annual security training for assigned personnel. Perform annual self‑inspections/reviews and provide staff assistance visits. Identify, report and document security incidents in accordance with DoDM 5205.07. Provide overall SAP security administration and support as outlined in the DoDM 5205.07 series regulations. Enforce all USAF, local security procedures, practices, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705. Perform random entry/exit searches, change combinations, and generate SF 700s. Manage classified material and access to secure facilities, including the handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media. Assist instructors, students and visitors in using facilities. Operate badging and access control systems. Monitor security camera systems. Assist in self‑inspections and prepare for customer inspections. Perform and document vault alarm tests. Assist in security inquiries. Assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Fighter Training Center (FTC). Perform other duties as needed by site and security leadership. Basic Qualifications Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from the investigation close date. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) Access. Familiarity with working in classified environments and/or classified materials. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of DoDM 5205.07. Desired Skills Prior experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). Knowledge of Joint Strike Fighter security requirements. Experience working in a military environment. Prior experience generating and maintaining Fixed Facility Checklists to support SAP in accordance with DoDM 5205.07 Vol3 and ICD‑705. Works well independently and in group settings. Excellent written, verbal and customer interface skills. Ability to multi‑task and remain organized; proficient in Microsoft Office products. Working knowledge of ICD705 standards. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a U.S. government security clearance. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
