The Destination Revenue Manager plays a critical role in maximizing revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction across Biltmore's Destination business through data-driven revenue management, forecasting, pricing, and capacity optimization. This position is responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies that balance demand, guest experience, and operational capacity across admission, ticketed experiences, and other destination offerings.

Working closely with the Director of Analytics & Decision Support, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Finance, and MarTech, the Destination Revenue Manager analyzes business performance, market trends, consumer demand, and competitive activity to develop recommendations that optimize pricing, inventory, and product availability. The role transforms complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and help achieve corporate revenue goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Revenue Strategy & Pricing Optimization

• Develop and execute revenue management strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and guest value across the Destination business.
• Monitor booking pace, demand trends, capacity utilization, visitation, and purchasing behavior to recommend pricing, product, inventory, and promotional strategies.
• Identify opportunities to optimize pricing across admission products, ticketed experiences, packages, and seasonal offerings.
• Evaluate pricing elasticity and guest demand to balance revenue generation with an exceptional guest experience.
• Partner with Marketing and MarTech to evaluate promotional performance and recommend revenue-driving initiatives.

2. Forecasting & Decision Support

• Develop accurate short-term and long-range demand and revenue forecasts to support strategic and operational planning.
• Analyze the impact of economic conditions, market trends, seasonality, weather, competitive activity, marketing campaigns, and pricing changes on forecast performance.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and continually refine forecasting models using historical and real-time business data.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership that support budgeting, operating plans, and key business decisions.

3. Capacity & Inventory Management

• Optimize inventory availability and capacity across, estate admission, tours, special events, and ticketed experiences.
• Analyze guest demand patterns to recommend operating hours, capacities, inventory allocations, and availability strategies.
• Balance revenue opportunities with operational efficiency and guest satisfaction to maximize long-term business performance.

4. Business Analysis & Performance Reporting

• Analyze internal and external data to identify revenue opportunities, emerging trends, and business risks.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance analyses that communicate key business metrics and actionable insights.
• Evaluate the performance of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and new products through post-event and post-campaign analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Lodging, and MarTech to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
• Participate in strategic planning and provide analytical support for new products, experiences, and revenue initiatives.
• Support the development of annual budgets, operating plans, and long-range financial projections.
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to ensure reporting accuracy and identify opportunities for enhanced analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field required.
• Advanced degree or Revenue Management certification preferred.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, business analytics, hospitality, tourism, attractions, or a related analytical field.
• Experience developing forecasts, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Experience working with large data sets and translating analysis into actionable business recommendations.
• Hospitality, resort, attraction, destination, or ticketed venue experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of revenue management principles, forecasting methodologies, and pricing strategy.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Experience using business intelligence tools, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex business data and identify actionable revenue opportunities.
• Strong financial acumen with experience interpreting revenue, profitability, and operational performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to executive leadership.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams through data-driven recommendations.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
