As a member of our Painting team, our Painters are a vital component of our community's day-to-day impression on existing residents and prospective residents. As such, our Painters are expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism while upholding the physical condition and appearance of the site. Showing up for work every day when scheduled is a must so we can complete the scheduled painting of units on time. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but are not necessarily limited to those listed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment
- Possess painting skills with the willingness to learn and develop skills
- Prepares surfaces and applies coatings to the interiors and exteriors of our residents homes
- Knowledge of paint types according to application or surface type
- Ability to operate and maintain professional equipment
- Maintain a clean and professional worksite
Qualification Requirements: As a member of our painting team, you will combine technical expertise with a personable, approachable, and helpful personality. You must also be detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as commitment to providing the best and most responsive customer service.
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Preferred 2 to 5 years’ experience in residential/commercial painting
- Able to work on ladders at heights of over 12 feet on occasion
- Able to carry ladders and materials, regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Valid Drivers License and ability to meet the company’s motor vehicle policy
- Exceptional technical skills as well as strong communication skills
- Willingness to expand your technical and repair knowledge; obtain new licenses and commitment to professional growth
- Ability to support our company as an advocate
- Must be able to work independently while safely maintaining a high level of performance
Education and/or experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Language skills: Ability to apply, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to speak effectively.
Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Other Requirements: Hours of Work: 7:00 am 4:00pm., Monday through Friday.
Amount of Overtime: As needed.
