Job Opportunity: Neuro-Ophthalmologist
Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated ophthalmologist with a specialization in Neuro-Ophthalmology to become part of our full-time team, which includes both ophthalmic subspecialists and general practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care.
- Engage in research activities.
- Teach and supervise residents.
- Instruct medical students.
- Completion of an accredited residency in ophthalmology or neurology.
- Fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology is mandatory.
- Candidates with additional expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology and/or surgical skills will be considered.
- Must be Board certified or eligible.

Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated total annual compensation for this position is approximately $235,000. This figure includes variable compensation and is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) work schedule, as detailed in the department's compensation plan. The starting base salary, which varies according to experience and faculty rank, is expected to range from $210,000 to $250,000. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Please note that residency in California is required upon starting this position. This opportunity is not eligible for a Conrad 30 waiver. The department will consider qualified candidates through the 2168 CA Special Permit Program.
