Georgia Medical Staffing is in need of a PT interested in assisting an occ med clinic with temporary coverage.

Details:

• Start Aug 24-Oct 2
• Hours: M, W, TH & F - 7:30a-4p
• Onsite employee health/occ med clinic
• Cority & Athena EMR

Scope:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services with a focus around work-related injuries and risk factors, as well as an emphasis placed on health and wellness and preventative care.

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities
• Restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health
• Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries
• Plan, prepare and perform individually designed treatment programs
• Efficiently identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for patient re-evaluation.

Pay:

• $65 Per hour
• Paid training
• Paid malpractice

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in out-patient/general orthopedic physical therapy
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in CT
• Manual therapy training and orthopedic skills are preferred for this unique position
