What You'll Do As a Collections Specialist, you'll play an important role in helping LCS achieve its recovery goals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts. * Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances. * Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets. * Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities. * Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals. * Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation. * Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations. * Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. * Maintaining consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.

What We're Looking For We're seeking experienced collectors who know what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and can maintain a high level of productivity while working independently. Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience. * Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills. * Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements. * Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. * Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude. * Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations. * Reliable internet connectivity sufficient to perform job responsibilities. * Ability to remain available, responsive, and productive throughout scheduled working hours. * Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a high-volume collections' environment. * Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems. * Experience negotiating settlements and payment arrangements. * Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. * Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.
