Our team currently has an opportunity for a Full-time or Part-time experienced Master Barber at our Westhampton location.   Who we are looking for:  Mango Salon is seeking a goal-oriented, experienced Barber with a passion for haircutting and customer service to work with guests in our high-volume Aveda salons. Candidates must excel in customer service and precision hair cutting. They should have the ability and willingness to maintain and grow their clientele through social media and networking. Knowledge and experience working with Aveda products is a plus!    Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED as well as a VA Barbering license. To be successful in this role the person must demonstrate significant competency in product knowledge and customer service. Developed communications skills and the ability to be solutions focused are crucial. This position requires working independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.    Physical requirements of this position include standing and walking for sustained periods of time, lifting/pushing light weights up to 25 pounds, continuous repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms, and continuous grasping and reaching. Continually required to bend, stoop, talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Specialized Salon industry equipment may involve the following: cutting shears, hot tools, hot wax, razors and clipper/trimmer.     Some traits we are looking for:   Personable - friendly with a passion to serve others.  Accountable - learn Mango processes and guest experience cycle. Responsibilities include AVEDA rituals and practices, shampooing, and advanced hair cutting.  Organized - the ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks proficiently within set time standards.  Adaptable & Flexible - capable of working flexible hours, interacting with other departments to ensure that guests' needs are satisfied, knowledge of salon services, products & promotions.
