Contract | Days | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Call/Standby Per Policy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby (LDRP) settings, including couplet care
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections as needed
• Titrate pitocin drips and manage other titratable medications per protocol
• Perform and interpret continuous fetal monitoring using GE and OBIX systems
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios and patient care standards
• Fulfill call/standby and floating requirements per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated LDRP experience including couplet care and OR circulation
• Proficiency with fetal monitoring; ability to read and interpret fetal strips independently
• Experience titrating pitocin drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with GE and/or OBIX electronic fetal monitoring systems
• Experience functioning as a charge nurse while maintaining a patient assignment
• Comfort working in a lower-volume community hospital setting with approximately 50–60 births per month
