Job Duties

Beacon Hill is partnering with a financial services organization to identify an experienced Controller for an immediate leadership opportunity.

This role will oversee the close process, external audits, technical accounting, and a global accounting team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment, drive execution, and partner effectively across the business.

Responsibilities

Lead the month-end and year-end close process

Manage external audits and serve as the primary auditor liaison

Oversee global accounting operations, consolidations, and financial reporting

Lead and develop a team of accounting managers and staff

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting efficiencies

Partner cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Operations teams

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive accounting experience

Significant experience leading accounting teams and managing personnel

Strong background in financial reporting, close processes, and external audits

Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Experience

Financial services, fintech, banking, broker-dealer, or digital assets

Public company and/or IPO readiness experience

NetSuite experience
