Licensed Plumbing Mechanic

Our client, a commercial and residential plumbing & HVAC supply company, is seeking a Licensed Plumbing Mechanic that will be responsible for oil and gas burner services. This candidate will work at the shop but mainly in the field servicing residential.

Duties:

Safely install pipes, fittings, valves, appliances, and plumbing fixtures according to blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, replacing worn fixtures, and clearing clogged drains.
Identify and resolve issues with malfunctioning plumbing, gas, and drainage systems using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
Inspect and test newly installed or repaired pipe systems to ensure they are airtight, watertight, and meet all performance and safety standards.
Ensure all work adheres to federal, state, and local plumbing codes and regulations.
Safely use hand and power tools, such as pipe cutters, threaders, drills, saws, and welding equipment.
Interact with clients, explain work performed, and provide estimates for repairs or installations.

Qualifications:

PLB License Required P2.
Specializing in plumbing repairs, water heater installs, toilets, sinks, faucets etc.

Schedule:
The store is open 8:15 - 5, Monday through Friday & 8:30-2:00 on Saturday. Your shift will be slightly varied as you share coverage with co-workers. Total 40 hrs.

Dependent on Experience.
