Maintenance Technician

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and minimize breakdowns.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues (motors, pumps, conveyors, sensors, low-voltage systems) using schematics and hands-on expertise.

Support continuous improvement by identifying potential equipment failures early, collaborating with team members, and suggesting process enhancements.

Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance standards while working in fast-paced, cold/wet food production environments with minimal supervision.

Work in a highly regulated food manufacturing facility, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial processing and packaging equipment such as conveyors, ovens, Multivac machines, labelers, and packing systems.

Operate in a cold and occasionally wet production environment, following strict safety, sanitation, and food compliance standards at all times.

Support production on either 1st shift (5:30 AM2:00 PM) or 2nd shift (3:00 PM12:00 AM), working closely with fellow technicians and production teams to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

This is a contract to hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
