Registered Nurse ICU

$3427.20/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized rapid response nursing care in the ICU environment, supporting critical patients during urgent and emergent situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver swift, effective interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to rapid response calls within the ICU to stabilize deteriorating patients.
• Perform advanced clinical assessments and execute emergency procedures as needed.
• Administer medications, including infusion therapies and cardiovascular drips, following protocols.
• Document patient interventions and clinical data accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with ICU staff to develop and modify patient care plans based on evolving conditions.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH required; prior Meditech experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a driven, positive attitude.
• Capable of handling complex procedures such as central line management, balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols.
