We are looking for a skilled Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic with a minimum of two years experience to join our team and help maintain the safety and reliability of our fleet and equipment. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is a team player, with a strong willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team's success.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Inspect and repair basic engine components.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues.
• Change tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
• Operate forklift and drive truck and trailer when necessary.
• Follow good housekeeping standards in all areas of work.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Make recommendations for process system improvements.
• Adhere to industrial safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Complete all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

What We Look For

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transport mechanics or a related field.
• General knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.
• Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A dedicated team player who contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Ni ce To Have:

• Class A Commercial Driver License

Schedule:

• Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM .
