Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

This role focuses on supporting the production of underground concrete duct bank boxes. You will work as a technician/laborer across multiple stages of the process, from preparing rebar and forms to assisting with concrete pours and maintaining a clean, organized work area throughout the facility and construction site.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of underground concrete duct bank boxes from preparation through finishing.

  • Set up rebar, tie rebar, and prepare assemblies for the next production station.

  • Assist in creating forms, including cutting and measuring materials accurately.

  • Clean and oil forms before and after each assembly to ensure proper release and reuse.

  • Assist with concrete pouring operations, including positioning concrete troughs correctly for pours.

  • Operate vibrating tools to settle concrete flush within the forms and remove air pockets.

Essential Skills

  • Experience working with concrete in residential or commercial construction environments.

  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel repeatedly during the workday.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more to at or near head level safely.

  • Ability to carry materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards across the worksite.

  • Physical stamina to perform continuous manual labor in varying weather conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Concrete experience in either residential or commercial projects.

  • OSHA 10 certification or other safety-related certifications (preferred).

  • Experience with landscaping or similar outdoor physical work (preferred).

Why Work Here?

You join a team that values hard work, reliability, and safety while offering consistent hours and overtime opportunities. The schedule, which may include Monday through Saturday work with OT, provides the chance to increase your earnings and gain substantial hands-on experience in concrete and construction. You work in an environment where your contribution to building critical infrastructure is recognized, and you can grow your skills on a variety of tasks rather than doing the same thing every day.

Work Environment

You work both indoors and outdoors on an open construction site and in a production facility. Conditions vary with the seasons, including exposure to mud, wet surfaces, and cold temperatures, as well as hot weather in the summer. The role involves frequent movement, lifting, and use of hand tools and vibrating equipment in an active, industrial setting.
