Experience: 1-2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required License: Active Massachusetts RN license Certifications: Current AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS preferred Must-Have: Telemetry experience; acute care experience Description: Telemetry experience is required. Acute care experience is necessary. Charge capability is highly preferred. Floating may be required. Scrub color is any color. Must work every other major holiday. Must have experience administering antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood, Lasix, and amiodarone. Common patient diagnoses include alcohol abuse, COPD, diabetes mellitus, CHF, sepsis, and pneumonia. Specialty equipment includes Pyxis, Zebra scanners, bladder scanners, dopplers, and general medical equipment.
