Job Duties

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, performing physical exams and detailed medical history assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab results with accuracy.
• Work alongside surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and confidently passing instruments during procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, and participating in discharge planning and patient education.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• Clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical training are strongly preferred.

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
