Network Support Technician

Salary: $72,000 - 84,000 per year Requirements:

• One year to less than two years of experience in a relevant field
• Proficient in computer and technology knowledge
• Familiarity with virtualization, device drivers, and networking software
• Experience with networking hardware and security software
• Competent in data analysis software and MS Office
• Knowledge of MS Windows and related operating systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Coordinate the access and utilization of computer networks
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, workstations, and peripheral devices
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
• Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems
• Provide technical support and problem-solving for network users
• Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware
• Perform routine network start-up and shutdown while keeping control records
• Execute data backup and disaster recovery operations
• Set up LANs and Internet connections
• Implement network traffic and security monitoring software while optimizing server performance
• Manage web-server backup and recovery processes
