Vice President of Sales

QLM Search is partnering a specialist global mid-sized ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director. Reporting to the Business Unit CEO VP the position will be instrumental in delivering their 3-5 year commercial strategy in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop and execute effective Ingredient (pharma ingredients-full category) Sales strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.

-Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.

-Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.

-Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.

-Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.

-Manage a team of 6 in Sales and Commercial in the US territory

-Have a “business development” mindset to win new business/customers in this specialist category across multiple teams and categories

Candidates must have proven experience as a VP Sales / Senior Sales Director within the B2B Ingredients industry ideally with deep experience in ingredients in the Health/nutrition category. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Food/Nutrition/Flavor Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new business opportunities
