**Crane Aerospace and Electronics**location. has an exciting opportunity for a **Manufacturing Engineer II** at our **Burbank, CA****Job Summary:** The Manufacturing Engineer II performs independent assignments to develop and recommend improvements in the Manufacturing system and in product manufacturability and cost effectiveness. Investigate, recommend, and implement manufacturing cost reduction and product improvement programs Identify root cause and corrective actions for manufacturing problemsDevelop manufacturing operating instructions Develop and track manufacturing metrics to monitor the health of processes Identify and prioritize work with limited input from manager**Minimum Qualifications:**Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Knowledge: Practical application knowledge of the theories of modern production principles and methods as applied to a high technology electronics design and manufacturing operation; Basic knowledge of material characteristics and processing, chemicals; Basic concepts of electrical systems, mechanical systems, fluids, and heat transfer Skills/Abilities: Able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization Education/Certification: BA or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field **Preferred Qualifications:**Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE**Top Benefits:**- **Benefits:**Health care, dental, vision, life and disability insurance starting the first day of the month following your start date.- **401k Retirement Plan:**401k plan with company match.- **Education Reimbursement:**eligible after 6 months of employment.You can see a list of our benefits at or visit our website at for more information on our company and great opportunities.***Salary range: $100,999.00 - 117,575.30.*** Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
