Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia services for overnight call shifts, 24 hours with 2-8 hours per week
• Work includes weekends based on department needs
• Must be competent with open heart procedures and healthy pediatrics
• Handle 2-5 patient encounters per shift in a 27-bed department
• Provide anesthesia for various surgical specialties including GYN, Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, Cardiac, Thoracic, Pediatric, Endocrine, OB, Vascular, and Neuro Spine procedures
• Participate in Code Stroke and EP procedures
• Work collaboratively with MDAs and CRNAs in a team environment
• Utilize up-to-date equipment and safety measures
• Must be board certified and hold current ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Required skills include general anesthesia for adults and pediatrics, trauma cases, obstetrical cases, neurosurgical spine cases, open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, complex vascular and orthopedic procedures
• Must be proficient in ventilation management, arterial line placement, and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues
