Our unique business model, combined with our dedication to delivering the highest quality products, enables team members to contribute in a larger capacity than is possible in typical positions.Position DescriptionAs a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:Use set up sheets to prepare tool kits for machinistsOrder tooling for the departmentInteract with vendors and obtain quotesOrganize and maintain inventory through Applied Medical's inventory control applicationUnderstand and follow machining policies and instructions (MI), QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelinesMeet schedules and maintain quality standardsPosition RequirementsThis position requires the following skills and attributes:Technical aptitudeBe able to lift up to 50lbs occasionallyBe able to stand/sit/walk frequentlyBe able to push/pull up to 25lbsWorking knowledge of MIs, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelinesAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishStrong interpersonal skillsPreferredExperience maintaining and tracking inventoryKnowledge of tool life and its basic applications (endmills, drills, inserts)Fork Lift CertificationWorking knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office software, and ExcelBenefitsThe base compensation range for this role is $18 - $23 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
