This opportunity is with a veterinary organization that partners with established general practices to co-own and operate after-hours urgent carea model designed to expand access to care while building long-term practice value. This is not a typical single-clinic job; clinicians are joining a growth-focused, partnership-backed urgent care expansion inside existing hospitals (leveraging existing facilities and teams).

Open to candidates who already have U.S. work authorization.

You'll treat urgent, non-life-threatening cases during after-hours blocks and serve as a key clinical contributor to the urgent care service line.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide urgent care evaluation and treatment (triage, diagnostics, treatment plans, and stabilization when needed) after hours.
• Independently perform soft-tissue surgeries and procedural care.
• Perform laceration repairs confidently and routinely (suturing, wound management, bandaging).
• Communicate clearly with pet parents, coordinate handoffs and follow-ups with the daytime GP team.
• Help maintain high medical standards and efficient patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Required qualifications include:

• DVM/VMD (or equivalent), eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience.
• Hands-on surgical experience and a proven track record of laceration repair.
• Comfortable working in an urgent care setting and making sound clinical decisions.
• Long-term mindset: seeking stability and a practice home where you can settle in.
