Oral Surgeon

Oral SurgeonHero Practice Services is currently seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment and educating caregivers and patients regarding preventive practices. This position will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services.Schedule: 3-4 days per monthLocations: Washington DC; Landover, MD; Baltimore, MDPay range: 50% of net productionJob ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needsExamine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary proceduresEducate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniquesHelp kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral healthParticipate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communicationsParticipate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved childrenJob QualificationsState dental license in good standingStrong interest in working with childrenBoard-eligible or certified with American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferredAbility to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI numberAttention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workloadAbility to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on timeIn addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
