Temporary Disclosure Desk Specialist

East West Bank is currently seeking a Temporary Disclosure Desk Specialist. The Disclosure Desk Specialist is responsible for reviewing loan applications for completeness and accuracy, verifying supporting income, asset and liability documentation. The applicant is expected to demonstrate a sense of urgency, willingness to work cooperatively with others, and be an effective team player whose primary focus is to service customers, since this position is their main point of contact.

Responsibilities include processing loan applications for Fannie Mae mortgage loans, using knowledge of title conditions to work with Mortgage Loan Officers, escrow/title, and customers to resolve pending conditions and stipulations, obtaining and reviewing documents for compliance with loan conditions, maintaining system accuracy, issuing proper disclosures as required by federal regulatory compliance, and reviewing rate lock and point objectives for accuracy. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, at least 5 years of computer experience, preferably with Encompass automated origination system, strong customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and solid analytical and problem solving skills.

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
