Head of Operations, Global Artificial Intelligence Nonprofit

Our global client is a growing US based Artificial Intelligence (AI) nonprofit

They have engaged us to recruit a Head of Operations based in Pittsburgh (local candidates only, please)

Compensation: $120,000 - $ 160,000 depending on relevan t experience + Bonus

About the Position: You will serve as the single point of accountability for in-country compliance and reporting worldwide. This role ensures adherence to local laws, regulations, and international standards across all program entities. Key responsibilities include driving policy enforcement, managing agreement workflows (MOUs, contracts), and conducting risk-focused audits to guarantee transparency and compliance with all applicable regulatory and financial entities.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of five (preferably ten to fifteen) years’ experience in operations and compliance gained working for a nonprofit [501c(3) preferred] in a multi-national environment (please specify which countries in your response if not clear from your resume)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace , and compliance tracking systems ( please specify software packages in your response)
• Project Management experience, including use of workflow tools (Please identify specific software packages in your response.)
