In this role, you will define and enforce technical and engineering standards, establish system architecture, and ensure technical quality and process consistency across multiple agile delivery PODs supporting critical Department of Defense missions.What You'll Be Doing:Set, communicate, and enforce technical and engineering standards across delivery PODs, ensuring consistency with streamlined processes and frameworksDefine and evolve overarching system architecture, ensuring alignment with mission requirements, security standards, and enterprise objectivesProvide technical leadership and oversight to cross-functional PODs, guiding solution design, technology selection, and engineering best practicesEstablish and maintain engineering standards, development frameworks, and reusable patterns to drive technical excellence and efficiencyReview and validate technical outputs, ensuring solutions meet quality, performance, security, and compliance requirementsCollaborate with product managers, agile leads, and mission stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutionsMentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, technical innovation, and knowledge sharingStay current on emerging technologies, industry standards, and DoD technical directives, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance technical capabilities and architectureSupport technical risk assessment, mitigation planning, and resolution of complex technical challenges across PODsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Active TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in technical leadership, systems engineering, or solution architecture rolesProven experience defining system architecture and establishing engineering standards for complex, mission-critical systemsStrong track record of ensuring technical quality, process consistency, and successful delivery across multiple development teams or PODsDeep understanding of secure software development, data engineering, and systems integration within federal/DoD environmentsExcellent communication, collaboration, and technical problem-solving skillsWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Master’s degree in a relevant disciplineExperience supporting Joint Staff, CDAO, or similar high-level DoD organizationsExpertise in cloud architectures, DevSecOps, data platforms, and AI/ML solution deliveryFamiliarity with DoD technical standards, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., CMMC, RMF), and enterprise architecture principlesAdvanced certifications in systems architecture, cloud, or engineering disciplines (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CISSP)Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and mentor engineering teams in large, matrixed organizationsSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
