Join the dynamic team at James Chevrolet as a Sales Consultant in Johnstown, NY. In this role, you will leverage your sales expertise and customer service skills to connect customers with the perfect vehicle solutions while driving sales growth and fostering long-term relationships.
Responsibilities- Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate vehicles.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits clearly and professionally.
- Negotiate pricing, financing, and trade-in offers to close sales effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, incentives, and competitive products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with team members and management to meet dealership sales goals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and dealership policies.
- Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing sales role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Competitive salary ranging from $50,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year, paid weekly.
