Position Summary

We are looking for friendly, dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our Front of House team. The Front of House Team Member is responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience while accurately taking orders, operating the POS system, maintaining a clean and stocked restaurant, and supporting daily opening and closing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate takes pride in doing the basics exceptionally well, pays attention to details, and understands that great hospitality is everyone's responsibility. You will be trained on our service standards, menu, ordering systems, and daily operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, genuine, and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a warm, personal guest experience.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Become knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, and common customer modifications.
• Process cash, credit/debit, and other approved forms of payment accurately.
• Answer customer questions and assist with menu selections when needed.
• Listen to customers and work to resolve questions or concerns appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and managers to ensure orders are accurate and completed properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and front-of-house area.
• Keep napkins, lids, straws, beverages, condiments, and other supplies stocked.
• Monitor the dining area and take initiative to address cleaning or stocking needs.
• Complete assigned opening and closing duties according to company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of POS systems, ordering devices, beverage stations, tables, windows, and other front-of-house areas.
• Follow all company procedures for food service, cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
• Recognize situations that require manager assistance and communicate appropriately.
• Work cooperatively with the entire restaurant team to provide a consistent guest experience.
• Take ownership of helping customers rather than immediately passing problems to someone else.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have Food Handlers Permit

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with order accuracy and cleanliness.
• Ability to learn and follow established procedures.
• Comfortable learning and using a POS system and other restaurant technology.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Willingness to learn the menu, products, and service standards.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
