ICU Nurse

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced ICU Nurses to deliver high-acuity patient care in partner hospitals nationwide. In this role, you'll monitor and manage critically ill adults, operate advanced life-support equipment, administer IV medications and drips, and respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions. You will collaborate closely with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams, follow evidence-based protocols, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. Responsibilities Provide direct critical care to ICU patients, including continuous monitoring and assessment Manage ventilators, drips, and other advanced life-support equipment Administer medications, blood products, and treatments per provider orders and protocols Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record Educate and support patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plans Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards in critical care settings Participate in handoff reports and care coordination across shifts and units Adapt to new hospital environments and workflows as a travel/contract nurse Required Skills ICU nursing Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring IV medication administration ACLS protocols EKG interpretation Central line care Electronic health records (EHR) Patient and family education Infection control #J-18808-Ljbffr Wise Medical Staffing
