Responsibilities

• Seeking an outstanding Insurance Defense Associate to join a growing law firm in Irvine, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation attorney who is looking to take ownership of cases, work closely with clients, and build a long-term career in a collaborative and professional environment.
• Handle insurance defense litigation matters independently from inception through resolution.
• Defend claims involving premises liability, product liability, and/or construction defect.
• Manage all aspects of assigned case files, including case strategy and evaluation.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 4 years of litigation experience.
• Substantial experience with a recognized law firm is preferred.
• Experience defending premises liability, product liability, and/or construction defect claims.
• Ability to independently handle and manage case files.
• Strong discovery, case evaluation, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality work.
• A proactive, accountable, and results-oriented approach.
• Passion for litigation and a strong commitment to client service.
• Ability to see the bigger picture while effectively managing day-to-day case responsibilities.
• Academic credentials from a Top 100 law school preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense litigation, excellent legal writing and analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage a caseload.
