We are seeking a Quality Specialist to support hands‑on inspection, testing, documentation, and release of complex UAV hardware assemblies. Who You Are: You are hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable inspecting complex hardware.,You care about getting things right and are willing to slow down, check the details, and document what you find.,You are comfortable working directly with electro‑mechanical assemblies, production technicians, engineers, and operations personnel.,You can follow checklists, identify defects, take clear notes, and communicate issues without creating confusion. How You'll Make an Impact: Perform hands‑on quality inspections of UAV systems, assemblies, subassemblies, payloads, cables, accessories, and production hardware. Inspect mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical assemblies for workmanship, fit, finish, configuration, labeling, completeness, and compliance with internal requirements. Execute incoming, in‑process, final, and pre‑shipment inspection checklists. Document inspection results clearly and accurately, including defects, rework needs, missing components, and nonconformances. Work with production, engineering, supply chain, and quality leadership to resolve inspection findings. Verify that systems are properly configured, serialized, labeled, documented, and ready for shipment. Support RMA inspections by documenting returned hardware condition, visible damage, missing components, and suspected failure points. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, production, hardware testing, assembly, field service, electronics, aerospace, robotics, or a related hands‑on technical role. Comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical hardware. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection procedures and checklists. Ability to document findings clearly using photos, notes, forms, spreadsheets, ERP/MRP systems, or quality tracking tools. Basic familiarity with hand tools, measurement tools, production hardware, cables, connectors, labels, fasteners, and assemblies.
