Founding Engineer - Agentic

The Role Founding agentic engineer. Own the agent layer end-to-end. Temper is an agentic integration platform for the real economy. Our agents do real work with real consequences in production systems. You own the systems that make those agents good, working directly with Nick (CTO). Nobody has shipped this kind of system at production scale yet. You would be one of the first. What you would build A context and self-learning system. A knowledge base of undocumented systems that compounds, so connecting company #1,000 is far better than #1. Self-healing workflows. Agents that detect failures in production, diagnose them, and recover autonomously. A meta-harness. The harness our agents run on, plus the layer that lets us build, evaluate, and evolve new agents in days. You might be a fit if You have built agentic software in the last year. This field moves monthly. You live in harness-centric agent building: context engineering, eval-driven iteration. You understand agent tracing and evals deeply. An agent you cannot measure you cannot improve. Implementation engineering, not research. You ship working systems in production.
