Surge Tech (Day Shift)

Schedule: 4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts (6:45am-5:00pm) Compensation: Competitive salary + $5,000 signing bonus

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surge Tech to join our dynamic team for our day shift position. As a Surge Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during medical procedures, ensuring the operating room is prepared, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position offers a competitive salary along with a generous $5,000 signing bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgery
  • Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and in working order
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide efficient and effective patient care
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science Surgical Technology from an accredited program
  • Indiana License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Surgical Technology Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
