Activity Aide

Activity AideThe primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities based on each resident's needs, interests, assessment, and care plan. The Activity Aide helps create meaningful programs that promote socialization, engagement, relaxation, personal fulfillment, and independence in daily living.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with planning and facilitating individual and group activities for residents.Interview residents and/or family members to learn about their interests, preferences, and activity history.Involve residents and families in planning activities whenever possible.Support the development of individualized activity goals and objectives.Encourage resident participation and create a welcoming, positive environment.Observe and report residents' participation, interests, and responses to activities.Assist with documenting activities and maintaining accurate resident records.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in activities, senior care, healthcare, recreation, or a related field is a plus but not required.On-the-job training will be provided.We are proud to offer:Competitive Rates401(k) Retirement PlanHealthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision)Paid time offApply Directly With AristaCare!AristaCare has a dedicated in-house Talent Acquisition Team that recruits directly for our facilities.
