DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Job Planning Reviews complete job packages including routing, blueprints, specifications and other documentation to understand the production process and requirements. 2. Equipment Setup Builds setups following documented procedures on qualified equipment like lathes, milling machines, and/or grinders, both CNC and conventional. 3. Production Operation Operates equipment using machining knowledge to produce components meeting customer specifications while optimizing efficiency. 4. Quality Verification Confirms workpieces meet specifications using appropriate measuring instruments. 5. Deviation Management Identifies machining process deviations, determines causes, initiates corrective actions, and reports all deviations identified via Process Discrepancy Report (PDR). 6. Training Trains less experienced machinists in advanced techniques to develop workforce competence. 7. Workplace Relations Maintains professional relationships with supervisors, peers, and subordinates. 8. Additional Duties Performs other assigned functions as directed by supervisors or authorized personnel.Vacancy posted 2 days ago
