A math-only learning center in the Sienna Plantation area has several openings for a math instructor to work with students in grades 2-12. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and instructors apply the teaching methods presented during training. This is a fun and rewarding job that offers valuable experience and can fit around your existing schedule and commitments.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual math instruction aligned with pre-determined curriculum
- Motivate and engage students to foster success and confidence in math
- Apply teaching methods learned during training effectively
- Interact professionally with students and parents
- Work flexible hours, mainly mid-afternoon through early evening, Sunday through Friday (based on your availability)
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional math skills through Pre-Calculus
- High School degree
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Energetic and confident personality
- Ability to engage professionally with students and parents
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mathematics instruction or teacher certification
