Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN)This is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 3x12-hour, from 19:00 to 07:00.Job DescriptionThe Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care for critically ill pediatric patients. The RN will have two years of experience in PICU and exposure to Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The position will require floating to other units when necessary.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to patients in the PICU.Monitor and assess patient conditions and adjust care as needed.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members for improved patient outcomes.Float to CICU as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care.Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.Must be fully vaccinated.Valid RN license (single state or compact).
