Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a vital utilities location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, collaborates closely, and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, treatment or distribution areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized personnel and visitor access, and maintain accurate security-related logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
