Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Manager

Labcorp seeks an Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations in Houston, Texas. This position requires leading laboratory teams, managing compliance and quality standards, and implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Responsibilities

Direct daily departmental operations and supervise laboratory professionals across technical and non-technical functions
Lead supervisors and emerging leaders with focus on staff development, performance management, and succession planning
Manage staffing models, workforce planning, scheduling, and labor utilization
Implement technology solutions and utilize data analytics to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times
Ensure compliance with corporate, federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements including CAP and CLIA

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
5+ years of anatomic or surgical pathology operations experience
3+ years of supervisory or management experience in clinical laboratory setting
Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and applicable state regulations
ASCP certification preferred
Prior Labcorp experience preferred
