Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a Distribution Engineer 2 to join their Orlando Team. This person will support the engineering and design of power distribution infrastructure upgrades and storm hardening projects across Florida. Time will be split between customer interactions in the field/over the phone and design/engineering work. Responsibilities Support the engineering and design of power distribution infrastructure upgrades and storm hardening projects across Florida. Conduct customer interactions in the field or over the phone. Perform design and engineering work related to distribution systems. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering. 3+ years of experience as a Distribution Engineer. Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing and presenting recommendations. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate frequently with customers. Distribution project experience. Experience in the electric utility industry.
